Great quote Christi. I might change it to say don’t compare yourself to others, predecessor or contemporary. Therein lies despair. Instead, in whatever you do, aim to make each attempt better than the last.

I’m still playing “catch up” with my blogs and other “computer” related issues
There was a little known story of Faulkner and his romantic bent. He loved to spread rose petals on the bed before making love. He also requested that his “love” destroy his private jounals as he didn’t want this softer underside to become known. Of course, she immediately published them. Drat on that. Loved your quote … be true to yourself
