Today’s writing quote is from Mark Twain…
The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.

Love Mark Twain … he also said “Please excuse the length of this note. I was going to write a short one, but I didn’t have the time.”
Have a great weekend !!

How amazing. I just read this quote this morning. And I am taking it to heart. When the road ahead is long, you get to the end by taking one step at a time, so here goes. I am breaking things down into small, manageable task right now, as we speak. I’m starting on the first one. Now.

Talynn,
I’m thinking of the phrase “Great minds think alike” here since we both had that quote going on!
I too am in the midst of a busy time, and am taking it one small step at a time. Sometimes it’s so much easier to focus on the small bit of dirt than the whole entire mountain
So, did you get done what you’d planned?

Not yet, but working on it! Sometimes, it’s just too impossible to finish quickly. One thing I am working on is my manuscripts. That’s a never ending thing, you know? Once you finish, you edit. Then write, then edit again. Then a new idea hits you and you are back to the drawing board. Fun times!
