When it Rains, it Pours…

Does it ever seem that when your days get filled with tasks that need to be done, more appear? And then, just when you think you’ve got everything figured out, something throws a wrench in your well-laid plans to get it all done?

Well, this week, that is me.

Two birthday cakes, my family coming, in-laws coming, teaching preschool, driving an hour to pick up a new bed, driving two hours to pick up another new bed, completing the script for the book trailer, meeting the editors for the book trailer, writing critique group meeting, blog entries, and much more are all on my plate.

Then, when I finally figure out how to get it all done, the car breaks down. Now, I have to do all the above juggling schedules around my hubby’s need for the car.

At least Castle is new tonight!

  1. My friends probably get tired of me saying, “It’s Murphy’s Law.” It really does seem like the worst possible things will happen at the worst possible times, and it’s hard to be prepared for that. Just keep on keeping on, working your way through the upheaval. You’ll get there. Maybe some of that incoming family, or good friends, could be coerced into taking over some of the driving tasks?
