Post-Lite

Polished, honed, and  line-editted myself into a stupor this weekend. Elated at the results.

How was your weekend?

  1. Not all that productive, but very relaxing. The boys were with their mother this weekend, so I got to enjoy a very rare kid-free couple of days. As much as I love them, it’s nice to have breaks now and again.
I wrote a little bit, drew a little bit; nothing major either way, but it was nice to be able to slow down.

  2. Brad,
I have five-year-old twins so I can relate to wanting a break from the madness every once in a while. It is amazing the amount of work that can be done in only a few “kid-free” hours.

Thanks for stopping by. Love your new “writing blog” Second Star” !

  3. Frustrating but productive. Start a new series today with the blog, working hard on sending my first romantic comedy, and trying to keep my head straight.

It is a great feeling when you have edited every single line and sit back to see the polished product. Good writing this week. 🙂

  4. Florence,
I saw your blog with your new series. Looks great.

I also noticed you’ve been busy over at the Query Critique forum on Writer’s Digest groups. I liked what I saw so far, it definitely piqued my interest 🙂

  5. Work, work, work for me! But got some good family time in between. I’ve been up since 5am adding in a few scenes to my lates ms. I have a 5 and 4 year old so early morn is my only writing time. A long as the coffee is flowing!
    Have a great week!

  6. PK,
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. I have five-year-old twins so I can relate to getting little/none writing time 🙂

Coffee is the absolute best and saves me several times daily.

I checked out your blog. I’ll be back.
