Writing Quote Friday

Today’s quote comes from Jillian Kent, a writing friend who just celebrated the release of her debut novel. The following is the first line of her acknowledgements section…

“Don’t ever let anyone tell you that something can’t be done.”

Jillian’s debut novel, Secrets of the Heart, is available on Amazon. Also, she is hosting an awesome contest on her blog, with the prize being a copy of her book. Seriously, go to her blog now and support a great author!

    • M.,

I saw that and knew right away it would be perfect for a writing quote Friday. Glad you enjoyed it!

  1. Hi Christi,
Thanks so much for posting my quote and link to the book. Also, besides my blog I am blogging at Just The Write Charisma where all the Realms writers are these days. I encourage you and any visitors to drop by and see who all is there. You may be in for some surprises. It’s a great blog. Here’s the link:

Have fun and I hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Mother’s Day this weekend.

    • Jillian,

Thanks for stopping by. Now I’m going to check out the site you recommended 😀

  2. Hi M. Howalt and Christi,

I can’t believe it! I got my first review on Amazon and thank God it’s FIVE stars! If you would have told me something like this was possible in my life ten years ago I would have never believed it.

It just proves the quote even more: “Don’t ever let anyone tell you that something can’t be done.”

Thanks again Christi for thinking of me and posting my quote. Your turns coming. Wait and see but work like crazy to produce lots of product. You’ll be glad you did. That’s coming from someone who didn’t do that. 🙂

  3. Jillian,

I just got your book yesterday (wow, Amazon is fast with shipping!) and I can hardly wait to add a review!

  4. Jillian,

Ahhh, the revision letter. May it be short, sweet, and full of only little things that need changing 😀
