Veterans Day

Today is Veteran’s Day. Please, thank a soldier today for all they, and their families, have sacrificed and endured to keep us free.

I for one would like to thank my best friend Tracy, and her family (which includes two young children), for all they’ve been through these past few years, which includes deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq for one family member. In addition, they’ve done several cross-country moves with little notice these past few years, which brought about complete disruptions to their lives. This is a military family that handles everything with class and style.

And now, they just got word that they will be making another cross-country move in June of 2012.

Thank you Tracy, spouse, and kids for all you do for America!

  1. It’s important that at least one day a year we reflect and remember those who live and die for the comforts we all take for granted. Thanks so much Christi for remembering Tracy and her family and all those who sacrifice for our continued way of life 🙂

  2. Florence,

The sacrifices Tracy and her family make each and every day are amazing. I only wish more were aware of all the families go through while the spouse/parent is out on deployment for months on end.

    Thanks for your support!
