  1. I love, love, LOVE the top one!!! Made me laugh out loud! That’s like me, I don’t want any job but writing, but I need a job to afford the writing, but the job keeps me from writing…

    • Artemis,

I’m glad you liked that one. I saw it yesterday and cracked up so hard I knew I had to share 😀

      • Oh yes, very busy, although I’m seeing some success in getting my daughter to entertain herself more often, so there’s that. 🙂

I’ve been a bit on hold for writing lately because I am currently beta-reading a manuscript for a friend, as well as trying to do some editing and revisions on the manuscript that she beta-read for me. Hoping to get that stuff out of the way asap so I can finally get to work on something else! 🙂

Oh, and thanks for asking! 😀

          • Thanks! 😀 I give a lot of the credit to LeapFrog…lol She has a LeapPad tablet and absolutely loves it, and I don’t mind if she spends a lot of time on it because I’ve seen first hand that it is helping her learn math and reading. 🙂

  2. So true, Christi. I waited until my kids were grown and I was retired to get to this writing time of my life. And I still can’t afford it 🙂 Then again … having raised two humans does give one a different perspective which helps our writing. Take the good with the bad and … I never get my space the way I want it 🙂 Great fun … thanks 🙂

    • Florence,

I’ve finally learned to embrace the chaos that comes with raising little ones…who by the way have taken over the kitchen table for this entire week and created a mega-fort so great that I don’t have the heart to make them take it down…and that I write a lot slower because of my family time, but I wouldn’t change it because I know this time with them is a precious gift from God and soon they’ll be older and won’t want me to join them in the fort 😀

So for now, I stop writing to hang out in the fort, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

      Christi
